Priced at $11.99 USD on its own, and included in the Season Pass, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided System Rift story DLC is now available on PlayStation 4 in North America, but the European version has suffered a delay. Here’s what Square Enix and Eidos Montreal are saying about the delay:
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – System Rift will not be available on the European PlayStation Store on September 23rd.
We are currently working with the Sony European team to have it live as soon as possible, and we will confirm the release date shortly.
We sincerely apologize for this delay.
Update: Eidos Montreal expects the DLC to be out on Tuesday, September 27 in Europe.
Here’s the description for System Rift:
In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – System Rift, you will re-unite with Frank Pritchard, Adam’s friend and former colleague at Sarif Industries, and assist him in hunting down information on the mysterious Santeau Group. Desperate to get more information, Pritchard targets one of the most secure data banks ever created – the Palisade Blade. In agreeing to help, Adam may also be able to uncover hints as to who the illuminati really are.
Eidos Montreal adds that System Rift is a completely self-contained story, taking you to a new location in Prague, “so you don’t need to worry about spoiling the main quest for yourself if you haven’t finished it.”
The next piece of story DLC, A Criminal Past coming in early 2017, also includes a self-contained story.
According to the PlayStation Store, System Rift is a 5.3GB download.
