Update:
DICE has confirmed that the Battlefield 1 Open Beta end date is Thursday, September 8.
Original Story:
Earlier today, an update for the Battlefield 1 Open Beta was released by DICE. After users on Reddit discovered that the patch disabled the time limit from Conquest mode and changed the score limit to 300, DICE confirmed the removal of the round timer on Twitter.
DICE also warned of connection issues today as the servers are stressed. “Starting today, we are simulating extreme launch situations to test BF1 servers. You may experience downtime throughout the stress test,” they said.
Although DICE previously said Sinai Desert would be the only map in the Open Beta, they’re now taking suggestions on the forums for a new map:

The Open Beta is expected to end on September 8, but DICE is still saying they “have not announced an end date to the beta at this time.” In response to a user, they said, “We’ll have more information on the length of the Open Beta soon.”
As a reminder, you’ll need to reach level 15 and play the Open Beta on four different days to unlock this Dog Tag.
