If you weren’t able to attend gamescom earlier this month, developer Crystal Dynamics has released the gamescom theater demo for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, which includes 11 minutes of gameplay from various modes.
The video starts off with a look at Thin Ice from the main campaign, as Lara tries to escape Trinity in a frozen Siberian wasteland. Then, beginning at 3:35, you’ll be able to see Blood Ties, the single-player DLC that adds over an hour of story as Lara explores Croft Manor. Finally, beginning at 8:40, you’ll see the new Lara’s Nightmare combat mode, where she has to protect her childhood home from the undead.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration releases on October 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to all of the previously released DLC, the 20 Year Celebration includes PlayStation VR support, the co-op Endurance mode, an Extreme Survivor difficulty mode, and more.
At PAX West this weekend, Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Endurance Mode will be playable.
