In the new Injustice 2 trailer today, Warner Bros and NetherRealm introduce Suicide Squad members – and “Worst Heroes Ever” – Harley Quinn and Deadshot as playable fighters.
Harley Quinn is making her return to the Injustice series and will feature “her signature attitude and some new tricks up her sleeve,” while Deadshot is making his console debut in the series. In addition to fighting with other Injustice 2 characters, the above trailer includes a bit of Harley vs Deadshot gameplay.
IGN also posted a 17-minute Injustice 2 gameplay video featuring Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and Blue Beetle:
In a recent Twitter poll held by NetherRealm’s Ed Boon, 81% of the nearly 16,000 votes cast chose Jason Todd as the Red Hood they think should be in Injustice 2. Additionally, the majority of the nearly 13,000 people in a separate poll said they wanted to see Starfire over Black Manta and Constantine. It remains to be seen if either of these polls will influence development.
Injustice 2 releases in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
