Try Out PlayStation VR at EGX 2016

Sony Computer Entertainment UK has announced that PlayStation VR will be available for fans to try out at this year’s EGX in September.

EGX attendees will have a chance to try PlayStation’s VR headset for themselves at the show before it launches on October 13, 2016. Thus far, the only PSVR titles that have been announced for EGX include RIGS Mechanized Combat League and PlayStation VR Worlds. More titles will reportedly be announced as it gets closer to the show.

They do expect the lines to be heavy, and as such, Sony has a way for attendees to book appointments online so they will be sure to get their hands on PSVR. Appointments can be booked for a PSVR demo at EGX via http://trypsvr.com. The website is now open for booking. They have cautioned that a “limited number of walk-in demos” will be available across the four days of the convention. It’s not required to book an appointment for the demo, but it’s highly recommended. All PSVR participants must be at least 12 years old.

Sony will also have Gran Turismo Sport available to play at EGX as well.

EGX is the United Kingdom’s largest gaming convention. It will run from September 22-25 at The NEC in Birmingham.
