SNK Playmore has announced that The King of Fighters XIV demo will release in Europe and North America on Tuesday, July 19. It will come with seven fighters out of a roster of fifty but will not come with the full game’s online mode.
The developer has also revealed that the upcoming title will include a “Party Play” feature, which allows two teams of three players to fight each other. A screenshot of SNK’s presentation grabbed by a NeoGAF user promises “diversified and fulfilling” user communication features that utilize the “Live From PlayStation” functionality and more. SNK has previously said that it has devoted a lot of development time to the game’s netcode and to improve online experience.

The King of Fighters XIV is coming to PlayStation 4 on August 23 in North America and August 26 in Europe.
