Tekken 7 producer, Katsuhiro Harada, has confirmed that the upcoming title will run at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 4. Responding to a Twitter user who posed the question, he simply said “yes.”
Yes.
RT@Fast_Devilz Senpai, will Tekken 7: FR run at 1080p/60fps on the playstation?— Katsuhiro Harada (@Harada_TEKKEN) July 8, 2016
No further details were revealed and since he was specifically only asked about the PS4 version, it’s unclear if this also applies to the Xbox One version.
In a separate Twitter exchange, Harada said that DLC is still under consideration but didn’t say anything beyond that. However, he did mention in a recent interview that if fans request content from other games/series that Bandai Namco will have to pay royalty costs for, it will be released as DLC.
Tekken 7 releases for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2017. We don’t have a release date yet but we’ll update our readers when we have more info.
