Footage From Marvel’s Cancelled Daredevil Game for PS2 Appears Online

Back in 2002, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear was in development by 5000ft Inc for the PlayStation 2. A third-person action game, it later became an open-world title, which was expanded to other platforms but unfortunately, it never saw the light of day.

With the help of Unseen64, a non-profit archive dedicated to preserving video game history, folks over at DidYouKnowGaming have published the video above, showing us what the game looked like. The video comes with the following description:

Daredevil: The Man Without Fear was developed by 5000ft Inc, and started out as a rather small third person action game for the PlayStation 2. After the team became aware that a Daredevil movie was in the works, the game became open-world. Knowing that the game would have more brand recognition at launch, the game’s publication was expanded to the Xbox and PC as well as the PS2.

Daredevil: The Man Without Fear was cancelled in 2004.
