If a listing on Korea’s game rating board is anything to go by, Bandai Namco is releasing Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It seems to be a follow up to 2007’s Championship Edition, which released to positive reviews on the PS3 and PSP alongside a number of other platforms.
There was also a Championship Edition DX, which released digitally for consoles, PC and mobile devices back in 2010, and was very well received by critics and users alike.
The game isn’t officially announced and the listing doesn’t spill much so we’re awaiting an official statement from Bandai Namco. In the meantime, you can always get your hands on Pac-Man 256, which released earlier this week for consoles and PC. It’s developed by Hipster Whale and 3 Sprockets, and includes a local co-op mode for up to four players.
Anyone looking forward to Championship Edition 2?
