Update:
Telltale’s Job J. Stauffer has clarified Richard Iggo’s remarks, stating that Telltale aims to finish Season 1 by the end of this year but content is priority as opposed to timescales. He said:
We’re committed to a solid cadence of great content, but having the best content is priority. We’ll work our hardest!
Original story:
With the first episode of Batman – The Telltale Series launching this summer, Telltales Games has confirmed to us that all season one episodes are scheduled for release this year.
Speaking with us at E3, Richard Iggo, Telltale’s Senior Director of Marketing, said they’re aiming to have all five episodes this season out in 2016. With the first episode coming soon, we should see each subsequent episode every month or so.
Batman – The Telltale Series will be available for PlayStation 4 and other home consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices. A Season Pass Disc for consoles will hit retailers later this summer in North America, Latin America, and Europe, offering access to the full season as each episode becomes available.
Telltale’s Batman series is “rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book,” and stars Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne, Laura Baily as Selina Kyle, and Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth.
Expect our preview of the game later today.
