NHL 17 Releases on September 13 for PS4 & Xbox One, Gameplay Trailer Revealed

At the 2016 NHL Awards in Las Vegas last night, EA announced that NHL 17 is releasing worldwide on September 13 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko as the cover athlete.

By registering for the public beta, you’ll be able to play NHL 17 from July 28 to August 4. The beta will include three playable game modes: Online Versus, Hockey Ultimate Team, and EA Sports Hockey League.

“Last year we held our first ever beta and the feedback we received from fans helped us create a great experience at launch,” Lead Producer Sean Ramjagsingh said. “For NHL 17 we’re opening up access to more players and we can’t wait for them to get their hands on the game.”

Tarasenko, who won the fan-selected cover vote after more than six million votes were cast, said:

It’s an incredible honor to represent my teammates and all the Blues fans around the world on the cover this year. As a player, it’s a big deal to be fan selected for something like the Cover Vote, and I’m excited to be involved in the game this year.

By pre-ordering NHL 17, you’ll receive the EASHL Equipment bundle, an NHL 94 Goal Celebration, and one Gold Pack per week for 10 weeks.
