E3 2016 – XSEED Releases Trailers for Fate/EXTELLA, Akiba’s Beat, Exile’s End and More

Wrapping up E3 2016, XSEED Games has released a batch of trailers for its titles that are scheduled to the hit the West. Get all the trailers and descriptions below. Don’t forget to check out previews for the games (where linked) that we got to play on the show floor.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II:

In the wake of the Noble Faction’s occupation of Heimdallr, civil war has broken out across Erebonia. The provincial armies, loyal to the aristocracy and the Four Great Houses, have claimed many of the nation’s great cities in the name of the Noble Alliance. The Imperial Army, called back from the four corners of the Empire, has only just begun sweeping its counterattack.

Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity:

Immortality is boring. While one would imagine an all-powerful vampire has a lot to do, such is not the case for Remilia Scarlet. After 500 years, the Scarlet Devil is desperately searching for something new to grab her interest. One day, she finds exactly that when she stumbles upon a newspaper article about a powerful, mysterious monster wreaking havoc across the countryside. Her curiosity piqued, she runs out to investigate this disturbance, letting the tabloids guide her to just where it might be.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero:

In the beautiful, magical world of Sequin Land lives a spirited young half-genie named Shantae. Gifted with a special ability to belly-dance and transform herself into various creature forms (not to mention the most powerful ponytail in the world!), Shantae has dedicated her life to defending Scuttle Town from evil in its many forms! So far she’s kept her home safe from steam-powered pirates, undead evildoers, and militaristic madmen, proving time and again that there’s nothing this genie-girl can’t handle.

Akiba’s Beat:

Asahi Tachibana is a textbook NEET, living a lazy, cozy life in Akihabara, the infamous Tokyo suburb renowned for its proliferation of anime and video game merchandise, maid cafes, pop idols, and all other forms of counterculture indulgence. To him, every day is Sunday, and every Sunday is a fun day.

Little does he know, however, that every day is about to become Sunday for real!

Exile’s End:

When the son of Ravenwood’s president goes missing on a remote mining planet, and all contact with the miners’ colony is lost, a mercenary team is hastily assembled and sent out to determine just what happened. Among the members of this team is Jameson, an old soldier with a dark past he’s trying to forget.

Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star:

Automaton is a spiritron computer, which exists on the moon and has the power to grant any wish. All across the spiritron-constructed virtual world, SE.RA.PH., Servants and the Masters who control them fight for the right to be the Moon Cell Automaton’s one owner in a ceremonial conflict known as the Holy Grail War. Now, the Servant Nero Claudius and her Master have won the Holy Grail War and have obtained the universal wishing mechanism, the Holy Grail. They also obtained the Regalia, a ring that proves their kingship. With it, they rule over their once-enemy Servants and start a new beginning on the moon’s new world.

But a new enemy has appeared before them. And this enemy has something that shouldn’t exist: another Regalia.
