Konami has released Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and its standalone expansion, Portable Ops Plus, for the PlayStation Vita and PS TV in North America. Announcing the news on Twitter, the publisher said that it received a lot of fan requests for a playable version of the PSP titles and are “grateful to Sony” for their assistance in the matter. Konami further wrote:
On PSVita, buttons can be remapped; we encourage trying out this PSP classic with your preferred configuration and capture some screenshots!
FYI, the online functionality is limited. Also if you run into any other issues, please let us know and we’ll see if we can assist.
Later realizing that we can’t capture images from PSP titles on the Vita, Konami told fans to share screenshots from a phone or through a streaming software, if possible.
