After the Nioh Alpha Demo went live yesterday on PlayStation 4, players discovered that the Game Mode Settings give you the option of improving either the frame-rate or resolution with these two options:
- Movie Mode – Stabilizes the resolution
- Action Mode – Stabilizes the frame rate
According to a report of the two modes, Movie Mode features much sharper models, while the frame-rate improvements in Action Mode are minor.
A 3.6GB file, you can now download the Nioh Alpha Demo through the PlayStation Store until May 5 (after May 5, the demo will become unplayable). By beating one of the two stages in the demo, you’ll unlock The Mark of the Conqueror DLC for the full game, which is scheduled for a 2016 release.
What do you think of the Nioh demo? Should more games offer this option?
