Quick Tips – Alienation

Housemarque has made a mark on houses everywhere (see what I did there?) with their fast and frenetic twin-stick shooter games. They are known for a lot of action and explosions filled with particle effects that push the PlayStation systems to their limits. If you’ve played games like Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, or Resogun, you know the distinct styling that I am talking about. Their latest game, Alienation, doesn’t disappoint in the explosive action department, but harbors the depth of a loot based RPG that can be a little bit confusing at first glance. Needless to say, we loved the combination of these two awesome genres.

Our quick tips guide above is to help you get started playing Alienation. It covers everything from remembering to use alternate abilities to knowing not to think that the menu screen pauses the game — spoiler alert: it doesn’t. We’re here to make sure that you are the one causing the explosions, not the one getting killed by them, as you take on waves Xeno forces in the final fight for mankind’s survival on earth.
