EVE: Valkyrie Will Support Cross-Platform Play Between PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift & HTC Vive

At EVE Fanfest 2016 today, EVE: Valkyrie Executive Producer Owen O’Brien announced that the multiplayer virtual reality game will support cross-platform play between PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.

“We want people to fly together and die together – this is an important thing for us that everyone can play together without barriers,” he said.

Developer CCP Games also showed off the new Carrier Assault mode, which will likely be available at launch in the PSVR version:

Take down the enemy team’s fighters and cripple their defenses to infiltrate and destroy their Carrier. Your team will need tactics, coordination, and nerves of steel to win the day and take home the spoils of war.

EVE: Valkyrie is already available on Oculus Rift, with a PlayStation VR release happening at launch in October 2016. The HTC Vive version is undated at the moment.
