PS Vita Update 3.60 Today Improves System Performance Quality

Along with PlayStation 4 update 3.50, Sony released PlayStation TV and PlayStation Vita system software update 3.60 today, which is a 127MB download.

Unlike the usual stability update, the official patch notes for PS Vita update 3.60 say it improves system performance quality:

Main Features in System Software Update Version 3.60

  • This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.

To download the update through a computer, head over to the US or UK PlayStation sites, where they also say, “Always update your system to the latest version of the system software. By updating, you can enjoy additional features, improved usability and enhanced security.”

If you missed the news previously, the Skype app for PS Vita and PSP was removed from the PlayStation Store on March 22, with support ending on June 22.

You can also download the April 2016 PlayStation Plus free games, which include A Virus Named Tom and Shuthimi for PS Vita.
