Earlier this week, Square Enix and Sony Pictures announced Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, a fully CG animated movie coming this fall that stars Sean Bean as King Regis, Lena Headey as Princess, and Aaron Paul as Kingsglaive soldier Nyx.
Taking to Twitter, the official Final Fantasy XV account revealed that Sean Bean and Lena Headey won’t be reprising their roles in the main game:
The actors for #KingsglaiveFFXV announced at #UncoveredFFXV will not be reprising their roles in the full FFXV game

As for the free five-episode Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV anime series, each episode will be around 10 – 15 minutes, “but can be longer depending on the content/story.” Also, while they planned to release one episode per month leading up to the game’s release on September 30, Square Enix made an exception for the Uncovered event.
They added, “The extra #BrotherhoodFFXV episode in the Ultimate CE is not a proper full episode but rather extra scenes.”
Square Enix is also looking at a standalone disc release for Brotherhood, “but have nothing confirmed at the moment.”
