Although Koei Tecmo is only releasing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan and Asia, an Asian version of the game with English subtitles was offered to people in other regions through Play-Asia.
Speaking with DualShockers, Play-Asia revealed that Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 was a huge success for them, breaking all previous sales records for the retailer and surpassing J-Stars Victory Vs as their most pre-ordered title of all time:
DOAX3 set our current record for pre-order copies sold of a single title from any region in the history of Play-Asia.com. Our previous record holder was the Japanese release of J-Stars Victory Vs. for the PS3 & PSVita.
Play-Asia still has copies of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 in stock, with VideoGamesPlus also offering the game:

Do you think Koei Tecmo made a mistake by not bringing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 to North America or Europe?
