Ready at Dawn’s cinematic actioner The Order: 1886 continues to be recognized for its remarkable CG effects, recently earning the coveted accolade for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Real-Time Project at the Visual Effects Society Awards.
Word comes by way of The Hollywood Reporter, revealing that during the 14th annual VESA ceremony, The Order: 1886 fended off strong competition from Destiny, Halo 5: Guardians, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and even virtual reality expansion, The Hobbit: A Thief in the Shadows, to take home the gong.
The team behind the PS4 exclusive were elated with the news:
We are humbled and honored to have won the #VESAwards for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Real-Time Project! Congrats to the whole team!

More often than not, the annual VES awards are designed to champion the cream of the crop in the movie industry, though Outstanding Visual Effects in a Real-Time Project is a category that lends video games the spotlight.
A congratulations is in order, then, to the Ready at Dawn team and everyone involved in creating The Order: 1886!
