In their latest video for Dying Light: The Following, developer Techland explored the new map, called Countryside, which is more than twice the size of the original game.
Complete with new characters, enemies, quests, environments, locations, and secrets, Countryside was discussed by Producer Tymon Smektala:
We made sure the new region is full of diverse environments that allow for both driving and free-running. We’ve added lots of little details that tell various apocalyptic stories if you look closely, and placed rewarding secrets for the most inquisitive. We’re also proud to confirm that despite the much bigger map and many visual enhancements, the system requirements for PC players remain exactly the same.
You can get an interactive look at the new map by heading over to the Dying Light website.
In the below video, Techland talked about how some community maps are coming to consoles with the Enhanced Edition:
Dying Light: The Following and Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition release on February 9 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
