World of Tanks PS4 Release Date Is January 19, PlayStation Plus Bundle Revealed

Following a couple of open betas, World of Tanks is officially releasing for PlayStation 4 on January 19 in North America and Europe, Wargaming announced today.

A free-to-play title, World of Tanks on PS4 includes enhanced visuals, “utilizing the full power of the PlayStation 4 system,” platform specific features, a Platinum Trophy, PlayStation Vita Remote Play with optimized controls, PlayStation Plus content, and limited-time exclusive content for logging into the game.

While a PlayStation Plus membership isn’t required to play World of Tanks, PlayStation Plus members will get access to the exclusive German Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J-PS, which features a one-of-a-kind darkened camouflage featuring a stylish “pinup girl” livery. This PlayStation Plus bundle will be available through the PlayStation Store beginning on January 19, and also includes an extra three days of Premium.

As Wargaming adds, “PS Plus members will periodically have access to special offers and sales.”

Additionally, Wargaming says to log in to your Garage before the end of the month to receive the U.S. T1E6-PS. After January 31, it will no longer be available.

If you’re interested in spending money on World of Tanks, the pricier Founder’s Packs are on sale right now for $50 – $99.
