Just last month, we gave out a ton of Dead Star beta codes for PlayStation 4. While we did give out quite a lot, it seems not everyone managed to get one. Well, thanks to Armature Studio, we now have more to give out!
Same as before, redeeming a key is super easy! All you have to do is follow the instructions via the widget below and you’ll get one. Remember: this is for US PS4 accounts and for non-US PSN account holders, just create a US PSN account, redeem the key, download, and revert back to your “real” account once the beta has been downloaded.
Armature also detailed a few things which players should be mindful of. While the beta is still technically only available to PS4 US accounts, EU and Asia servers will be added mid-month. If you want to play Dead Star when the population is highest, Armature advises that you play during the following times:
Weeknights: 9 p.m. ET/12 mn PST
Weekends: 10 p.m. ET/1 a.m. PST
The codes we’re giving out are for the beta only, and once the beta ends, you need to purchase the full game to continue playing. While there’s no definite date just yet on when exactly the Dead Star beta will end, Armature notes:
Beta will end in Q1. Players will be notified in advance of the beta closing

Guns Up! is a unique take on war. Instead of controlling soldiers directly, players purchase what types of weapons their soldiers will use. It looked great at E3, so this is one to look out for.

Magic Duels: Origins is the successor to Duels of the Planeswalkers, and has a new free-to-play format. All cards will be able to be earned in-game, however. We're looking forward to checking out this new format later this year!

Planetside 2 is a great example of an MMO and FPS hybrid. If you want to sink hours into an MMO, but don't dig the typical RPG combat, then the shooting found in Planetside 2 should feel refreshing.
