Highlighting big moments from recent title fights, a new gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 was unveiled today by Electronic Arts. It opens with cover athlete Conor McGregor showing the Knockout Physics System, then continues with a look at Dynamic Grappling and Next-Level Submissions.
Along with the trailer, EA announced that EA Sports UFC 2 will release on March 15 in North America and March 17 in Europe for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
By pre-ordering EA Sports UFC 2, you’ll receive day one access to UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten, as well as Japanese MMA legend “The Gracie Hunter” Kazushi Sakuraba. A mystery third fighter will be named later.
Creative Director Brian Hayes said:
Whether fans want to play upcoming cards, recreate the outcome of recent fights, or go back to fight with MMA legends, we’ll help them do that in the most authentic and exciting way ever in an MMA simulation. Our first two pre-order fighters, Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba are perfect additions to what is already the biggest roster ever for an official UFC game. Adding them is huge, and fans are going to go nuts when we reveal who the mystery fighter is. I can’t wait.
There will also be a deluxe edition of the game, which includes up to $60 of UFC Ultimate Team Premium Packs.
