According to tweets from Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One combined to sell 2.8 million consoles during November in the United States. When you add in the Wii U, it jumps to over 3 million.

We’ll have the full results from the November 2015 NPD report soon, but for now, Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 was the #1 selling console during the month, reclaiming its title from the Xbox One.
Eric Lempel, Sony Computer Entertainment America’s SVP of Marketing, reiterated that this past Black Friday was the strongest in PlayStation history, while November 2015 was the biggest month ever for PlayStation Store sales.

PlayStation 4 is the top selling console in the United States during the month of November according to NPD. We have hit several key milestones over the last few weeks. Prior to Black Friday, we announced we have sold through more than 30.2 million PS4s to consumers around the world and that PS4 continues to exhibit the fastest growth in PlayStation hardware history.
In addition, Black Friday sales were the strongest in PlayStation history demonstrating more people game now than ever before. We are also pleased to announce November was the biggest month ever for PlayStation Store indicating a strong digital marketplace complementing healthy retail sales.
Similar to their Black Friday deal, Sony is offering the PS4 for $299.99 right now in the US.
