Delayed by a day due to all the added Black Friday traffic, GfK Chart-Track has revealed the latest UK sales chart, which saw software unit sales up 60% and revenue up 32% week-to-week. Compared to last year at this time though, unit sales are down 9% and revenue is down 10%.
As for consoles, year-on-year sales were up 8%, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One accounting for 86% of all console sales (up from 75% last year). As for PS4/XB1 software, it saw the highest week ever and accounted for 74% of all software unit sales (up from 46% last year).
Looking at individual titles, FIFA 16 was back at #1 thanks to a jump of 254%, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was in 2nd with sales up 47%, and Star Wars Battlefront ended up in 3rd, but only fell 52% compared to launch week (the average drop is 70%).
