PES 2016 Free-To-Play Edition Available December 8 on PS4, PS3

Confirming the recent rating, Konami announced today that the free-to-play version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on December 8.

After downloading the free-to-play edition of PES 2016, you’ll have access to the Exhibition Mode and seven playable teams: including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil, and France. Additionally, a full training section will be included, as well as unlimited access to MyClub, which lets you build your own team from available players.

As Konami added, you’ll be able to choose players through MyClub with “points acquired through success in matches or with MyClub coins.”

The free-to-play version is described as an “overview of the game’s stunning levels of control,” and will “be compatible with all future gameplay and content updates throughout the entire PES 2016 season.”

In our review of PES 2016, we said, “Thanks to the smooth, physical gameplay, the amazing animations, and the various and strategic game modes, PES 16 is easily the best title in the franchise.”
