Final Fantasy VII Composer Nobuo Uematsu Not Working on Remake

Acclaimed Final Fantasy composer, Nobuo Uematsu, has revealed that he’s not working on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake. During an interview with French outlet, Jeuxvideo.com, Uematsu was asked if he was working on the remake, and he replied with “not at all.” 

This news is being met with a lot of concern by fans who were hoping that he’d remaster the game’s soundtrack. Square Enix hasn’t revealed who the remake’s composer will be but we’ll update our readers when we have more information. 

Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development for the PlayStation 4.
