Shying away from revealing exact sales/player numbers, EA has announced that “the start of the FIFA 16 season has been the biggest in franchise history – thanks to the fans!”
Through the first 16 days after launch, FIFA 16 saw 326 million matches played across all game modes, 1.5 billion hours played in total, 693 million goals scored, and more, as you can see in this infographic:

In September, we talked about making sure the game is Fair, Fun, and Secure. This included bringing back the Web & Companion App and making it easier to buy & sell in the improved transfer market. Looking at sales, FIFA 16 managed to place in 4th in North America at retail for September 2015, while in the UK FIFA 16 stayed at #1 for four straight weeks, though its week 1 did see a drop compared to FIFA 15.
