Need for Speed Launch Trailer Takes You to a Racer’s Paradise

With Need for Speed releasing on November 3 in North America and November 5 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, EA and developer Ghost Games brought out the launch trailer today.

The description adds:

Become an icon of urban car culture in Need for Speed. Race in and explore a huge nocturnal open world, express your style with authentic car customization and become immersed in a narrative staring real world icons like Magnus Walker and Ken Block.

An always online racing game, Need for Speed requires an Internet connection speed of 192 Kbps or higher. If you plan on buying the digital version, expect an 18GB download.

The regular version of Need for Speed will be $59.99 USD, with a Deluxe Edition for $69.99 adding “Performance and Styling Packs, 10% discount on all game items using in-game currency and an additional starter car – the BMW M3 E46. Plus – a VIP icon, sticker and exclusive wraps.”

As we learned in September, Need for Speed runs at 30fps, there’s no plans for any paid DLC, and there won’t be any micro-transactions.
