Mods will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Fallout 4 at some point, but right now, Bethesda doesn’t want to talk about it.
Responding to a fan on Twitter who asked if mods for the PC version of Fallout 4 will be able to be uploaded to mod sites like Nexus, Bethesda Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines said the company doesn’t want to talk about that until after the game has been released.
@Sepherchorde If it’s ok with you, we’re gonna focus on the game release first and talk about mods when we’ve figured some stuff out.

The fan, in response to Hines’ reply, said that he has concerns over whether or not limitations will be placed on mods. Hines replied by saying that fans should “trust us a little.”
@Sepherchorde or, you could choose to look at the last 13 yrs of mod support we’ve offered and trust us a little.
