Sitting at #6 the month before its launch, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain managed to capture first place in YouTube’s top trending video games list for September 2015, beating out fellow new release Super Mario Maker.
Here’s YouTube’s top 10 trending games for September 2015, which are “based on games that have the fastest growth in watch time and Creators making content, but do not necessarily represent the most popular titles.”

- Mad Max

Giving out a couple stats, YouTube says, “NBA’s on top right now but, over the past year, FIFA has been the #1 sports game on YouTube Gaming.” NBA 2K16 streamers, meanwhile, are showing off their games as well as their custom players who lead lives in Spike Lee’s in-game story.
As for LEGO Dimensions, it marks the third LEGO game to hit the top trending chart in 2015.
