Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps Playable at New York Comic Con Ahead of Early 2016 Release on PS4 & PC

Announced at Tokyo Game Show, Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps will be playable for the first time in North America at New York Comic Con this weekend from October 8 – 11.

Just titled Umbrella Corps (at least in North America), Capcom says “the new fast-paced third-person multiplayer shooter set in the Resident Evil universe” is releasing  in early 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Additionally, Capcom is bringing Street Fighter V to NYCC, and they teased the potential reveal of Laura:

Get fists-on time with the latest in the legendary fighting game franchise. Spend time with all the recently announced roster additions including Karin, Rashid and Zangief, and fists will fly if another new challenger decides to join the fight. Coming Spring 2016 to PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

If that isn’t enough, Resident Evil Zero Remastered and Mega Man Legacy Collection will be playable as well.

There’s also a couple of panels where new details about upcoming Capcom games may be revealed:

World of Capcom – Thursday, Oct 8 from 6:45pm – 7:45pm in Room 1A10

Additionally, attendees will be provided with a roundup including exclusive first looks of cool goods and collectibles based on popular Capcom IP.

Street Fighter V – Saturday, Oct 10 from 5:30pm – 6:30pm in Room 1A10

NYCC fans can get the latest news about this iconic video game franchise and the upcoming Street Fighter V. There will be a special appearance by Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono. Plus, get an insider’s sneak peek at the Street Fighter collectibles currently in the works as well as a surprise or two. Some lucky fans may even be selected from the audience to battle it out for awesome prizes and bragging rights!
