Japanese Sales Chart: PS Vita Sales Hold Strong, PS4 Drops to Just 4,000

With the PlayStation 4 price drop in Japan arriving tomorrow, October 1, system sales last week took a nosedive, dropping by more than half to just 4,000.

Elsewhere, the top 20 best-selling games of the week saw many new PlayStation releases, with Utawarerumono: False Mask for PlayStation Vita debuting the highest and moving 26,200 copies. False Mask, along with fellow newcomers Genkai Tokki: Moero Crystal and Hakuouki: Shinkai Kaze no Shou, helped PS Vita hardware stay right around the 19,000 mark.
