We haven’t heard much of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s upcoming patch since the release of update 1.08 back in August, but a recent post by CD Projekt RED’s Marcin Momot on the game’s official forum reveals that the patch is “on its way” with a pretty comprehensive changelog. While Momot said that the full changelog won’t be released until October rolls around, he did say that it includes PlayStation 4 performance improvements among a number of other fixes. He wrote:
The patch is on the way. Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive – the list of changes is massive. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more. We ask for a bit more patience.
Earlier this month, we learned that the upcoming patch will also include additional dialogue options for Triss and Yennerfer’s romances due to popular demand.
We’ll update our readers when we have a release date, but the patch should be out around the same time as the launch of the Hearts of Stone expansion on October 13.
