Lumo Announced for PS4 & PS Vita, “Will Be the First Great Game of 2016”

Calling it “the first great game of 2016,” Rising Star Games has announced that they’ll be publishing Lumo from Triple Eh?, which is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and PC/Mac/Linux in early 2016.

An “isometric, arcade adventure game” in the same vein as Head over Heels and Alien 8, Lumo is developed by Gareth Noyce, who worked on titles like Crackdown, Fable 2, and Project Gotham Racing 3.

Rising Star Games says:

Drawn from the mind of Gareth Noyce – former Ruffian co-founder, now head of Triple Eh? Ltd – Lumo has the kind of charm that absolutely anyone can enjoy. Consider it a fresh, modern take on the classic isometric adventure style, but also a love letter to the golden age of British game development (the 80s) and everyone that made it so great. Players can spend hours exploring over 400 rooms, finding secrets and solving puzzles, or they can hunt for all the subtle and not-so-subtle nods to the days of the UK’s Sinclair ZX Spectrum Personal Computer and beyond. What you get out of it is entirely down to you!

We placed the most recent gameplay video of Lumo above, which was published in December 2014 before the PlayStation versions were a reality.

You’ll be able to play Lumo for the first time at EGX 2015 from September 24 – 27.
