Following an absence of Brazilian teams in FIFA 15 due to licensing issues, EA has announced that sixteen Brazilian teams will be returning to FIFA 16. Coming with authentic crests and club names are Atlético-MG, Atlético-PR, Avaí, Coritiba, Chapecoense, Cruzeiro, Figueirense, Fluminense, Grêmio, Internacional, Joinville, Ponte Preta, Palmeiras, Santos, São Paulo, and Vasco da Gama. The developer wrote:
We have worked to create the best possible experience for FIFA fans in Brazil and around the world to include Brazilian teams. We know FIFA fans love playing with Brazilian players and teams across the game, so adding 16 clubs is positive news for all fans.
The teams will be available in the “Rest of the World” menu, and will be playable in “most game modes.” In career mode, players in Brazilian clubs will be available in the transfer database should players wish to acquire them for their campaign.
EA has said that it’ll be revealing a complete list of FIFA 16 leagues and teams soon.
