Released on PlayStation 3 in 2014, the free-to-play SoulCalibur: Lost Swords is shutting down for good on November 30, Bandai Namco announced this week.
“The curtain is closing on this tale of two swords,” the farewell video says, “but the legend of the warriors will live on.”
Achieving just over 2 million downloads and seeing more than 16 billion Soul Edge fragments collected, here’s the closing schedule for Lost Swords:
- September 16 – A “Ranking Quests!” commemoration event will be held between September 16 and 30.
- September 30 – AP Potion and Continue Tickets will no longer be sold.
- October 27 – All in-game items wil no longer be sold (exact time may vary depending on your region).
- November 30 – Last day to play. SoulCalibur Lost Swords shuts down at [3am ET].
They add, “All items can be used until the last day, so if you have any items in your account, please use them before November 30.”
