Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Video Show Celebs and Game Devs Congratulate Hideo Kojima

It’s no secret by now that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is one heck of a game. It’s also no secret that a lot of people attribute the game (and franchise’s) success to one man, and that’s Hideo Kojima.

In the video above, watch as celebs like Kiefer Sutherland (who voiced Snake in the game) and film director Guillermo del Toro congratulate Kojima for his latest and most likely last MGS game. Thankfully, the video doesn’t just feature celebs. You can see Respawn boss Vince Zampella talk about his admiration for Kojima’s vision; and even Cliff Bleszinski (Gears of War) makes an appearance as well.

Will we see another Kojima-developed Metal Gear Solid game ever again? That we can’t say for sure, but at least he ended the game/franchise with a bang.

Have you picked up MGSV: TPP yet? What do you think of it so far?
