A new gameplay video showcasing a bit of WWE 2K16 has been released today, and a few interesting details on the wrestling title have also come out.
The video, which can be seen above, features Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins duking it out in an arena. While the graphics don’t exactly look up to par, 2K Games has said that more work is being done to make the gameplay and match pacing feel more realistic. One change being made to the game is how reversals will be implemented. Players will now be given a limited stock of reversals at the beginning of a match, and after one is used, it will regenerate slowly. This means it will be harder to use reversals to win a match, and it will make deciding when to use them more strategic.
Besides the information on the new reversal system, it was revealed that WWE 2K16 will be bringing back MyCareer, Create a Diva, Create a Show, Create an Arena, and Create a Championship. MyCareer will apparently be fleshed out more, and players will even be able to earn a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.
What do you think of the WWE 2K16 gameplay video? The wrestling game is set to release on October 27 for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
