According to NPD sales data from January 2015 – June 2015 obtained by Fortune, the #1 best-selling game from the first half of 2015 at retail in the United States is Mortal Kombat X, which is available in stores on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As for other games released in 2015 on the list, Battlefield Hardline is in 3rd, Batman: Arkham Knight is a bit of a surprise in 6th (it released in late June), Dying Light placed in 7th, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came in at 9th. Otherwise, the rest of the spots are taken up by games released before 2015.
