E3 2015 is poised to be the largest iteration of the Electronic Entertainment Expo yet. Aside from the three console makers, four different third-party publishers are holding their own press conferences. While this has become expected from both Ubisoft and Electronic Arts, this is unexpected for both Bethesda and Square Enix.
Bethesda will kick off E3 2015 with their press conference that takes place Sunday night. This is Bethesda’s first E3 press conference so they are expected to bring out some major releases for the occasion. Then on Monday both EA and Ubisoft will have their yearly media briefings. Finally, wrapping up the press conferences will be Square Enix on Tuesday. Square Enix has not held an E3 press conference since 2012, so we’re excited to see what they have in store.
To help get you ready for what will be a busy week, PlayStation LifeStyle has put together a preview for these third-party press conferences. We’ll let you know what’s confirmed to be at the show, what rumors are circulating, and what we want to see announced!

E3 2015 Third-Party Press Conferences Preview
Bethesda
What Will Appear: The centerpiece of Bethesda's first-ever E3 press conference will most likely be the recently announced Fallout 4 . A world premiere is already set to debut at their press conference, and even more details will be revealed at E3 itself with Bethesda hosting two panels focusing on Fallout 4 .
The second largest game at the conference will be id Software's Doom . A teaser has already been shown, but a full gameplay reveal is promised for E3. We can't wait to see what this legendary first-person shooter series looks like in 2015.
It is also worth noting that Battlecry , Bethesda's free-to-play multiplayer game, is scheduled to appear. It is currently only announced for PC, but a console version could be announced.
Bethesda
What is Rumored to Appear: Arkane Studios wowed players in 2012 with their stealth action game, Dishonored . Three years have passed since its release, so gamers have been eagerly anticipating what Arkane has been up to.
A sequel to Dishonored would certainly make sense, and it is almost certain we'll see the studio's next project at E3 2015.
Bethesda
What We Hope to See: While it would probably be too soon to see any gameplay, it would nice to see a sequel announced for The Evil Within . While Shinji Mikami's latest outing had several issues, there was still an interesting, solid game to be played.
Last year, Bethesda did a great job in bringing one of id Software's classic franchises into modern day gaming. So we would love to see how they would handle a new Quake game. Just make sure Trent Reznor is back for the soundtrack!
Electronic Arts
What Will Appear: Electronic Arts might not have a lot of surprises this year, as they ended up announcing a lot of their major releases last year. Perhaps the most surprising announcement was that DICE is working on Mirror's Edge 2 . We're excited to see some gameplay for this 2016 release .
Electronic Arts will also show off some of its many sports titles. FIFA , Madden , NHL , NBA Live , and Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will likely be shown off.
DICE has been working on more than just Mirror's Edge 2 , as the studio is also developing the highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront . We'll likely get a lot of information and gameplay footage, as it releases November 17.
Finally, the recently announced Need for Speed reboot will be shown off. Its fall 2015 release date is quickly approaching, so we'll get the full rundown on Ghost Games' second Need for Speed title.
Electronic Arts
What is Rumored to Appear: It's no secret that BioWare is working on a new Mass Effect title. The fourth entry in the highly acclaimed sci-fi series will be releasing this fiscal year, so it is pretty much a shoe-in to appear.
EA's recent financial report revealed that a new Plants vs. Zombies title is in the works. It seems to be a sequel to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare , and Popcap Games have been teasing an E3 reveal.
Electronic Arts
What We Hope to See: There has not been a new entry in EA's Fight Night series since 2011. Instead, we've seen the release of two mixed martial arts games. We're hoping that the sweet science will make its long awaited return this year.
While it may be unlikely to see unveiled since another Star Wars game is coming out soon, we would love to see a tease of what Visceral Games' Star Wars project looks like. Sadly, we might have to wait another year.
Ubisoft
What Will Appear: Obviously, Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be a large focus of Ubisoft's press conference. It will be their largest release of the year, so it will be highlighted.
Tom Clancy's The Division won't be released until early 2016, but it has been an E3 staple since 2013. The trend will continue this year, as Ubisoft gives the game one more push at gaming's largest stage. Hopefully, we'll find out exactly when we can get our hands on the game!
Another Tom Clancy game is also in the works. That is, of course, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege . Rainbow Six Siege will be released on October 13, so expect some new information on the first Rainbow Six game on consoles since 2008.
Finally, Just Dance will make its yearly appearance.
Ubisoft
What is Rumored to Appear: According to a LinkedIn page, Watch Dogs 2 is currently in development. This is hardly shocking when you consider how much Ubisoft pushed the original game.
The other rumor that has been picking up steam lately, is that a new Prince of Persia game is in the works. We'll see if this pans out soon enough, but we would certainly love to revisit this classic Ubisoft series.
Ubisoft
What We Hope to See: Few games are as fun as Rayman Legends , so we're hoping to see a new 2D platformer from Ubisoft. While series creator Michel Ancel might not be involved due to obligations with other projects, there are still enough talented people at Ubisoft to make something great.
Will this year be when we finally get to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 ? The sequel was announced in 2008, which means it has been floating around in development hell longer than The Last Guardian . At the very least, give us an update!
Square Enix
What Will Appear: Since Final Fantasy XV will not be appearing at E3 2015, Square Enix's most anticipated title that is a lock for the expo is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided . Eidos Montreal has been hard at work on the sequel to 2011's Human Revolution . A world premiere trailer is already confirmed for the show.
The other major Eidos release will be the Avalanche Studios developed Just Cause 3 . Set for a Holiday 2015 release, we're all excited to learn more about Rico Rodriguez's next adventure.
It is also worth mentioning that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be a key focal point of the press conference. While it's currently a timed-exclusive for Xbox One, it will eventually make its way to PS4.
Finally, expect Dragon Quest Heroes to make an appearance as it is set to launch October 13 in North America.
Square Enix
What is Rumored to Appear: Way back in 2014 , Square Enix announced that they were working on a new entry in the Hitman series. We can't wait to see what the series finally looks like on PS4!
Square Enix
What We Hope to See: While it may seem more likely for more Kingdom Hearts 3 information to be announced at Disney's D23 Expo, we're hoping for at least a trailer at E3 2015.
