Robert Kirkman “Super-Involved” With the Creation of Overkill’s The Walking Dead

Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead comic books, is apparently working with Overkill and Starbreeze Studios to create their upcoming video game Overkill’s The Walking Dead.

Talking to Official PlayStation Magazine, Starbreeze Studios Global Brand Director Almir Listo mentioned that Kirkman is “super-involved” with the game. Listo then went on to talk about the shooter, explaining that it will be a “co-op experience” and a “survival-horror action-RPG.”

It’s going to be a co-op experience, it’s going to be a survival-horror action-RPG, and there’s going to be various different things that you’re going to see. Yes, when you sit down and play it you’re going to say, ‘This is a great FPS. This has elements of surprise and stealth and horror.

Hopefully, more information about Overkill’s The Walking Dead will be given at E3 this year, as it will be showcased there. The horror game is set to come out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime next year.
