Developer Sumo Digital did a fantastic job with LittleBigPlanet 3. There are three new characters to play as, which makes co-op even more fun. There is also plenty of costumes to download to make Sackboy look like some of your favorite video game and comic book characters. LittleBigPlanet 3 also fosters creativity as it allows players to create their own levels.

With Rocksmith 2014, kids can actually learn how to play guitar while still having fun. By effectively turning this complex process into a fun game, it is now easier than ever to pick up an instrument. It is worth noting that this is the only Teen rated game on the list, due to some suggestive lyrics.

Many gamers will fondly remember playing fantastic 2D platformers as part of their childhood. One of the best platformers to be found on PS4 is Rayman Legends. Ubisoft's colorful, highly polished game features plenty of characters, local co-op play, and even musical levels to beat!
