While we wait for Gran Turismo 7 to be officially announced, it seems Polyphony Digital is keeping itself busy with post-release support for Gran Turismo 6.
The latest Gran Turismo 6 update (1.19) adds a few cars and makes a minor tweak.
Vision Gran Turismo
The “PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo” has been released.After the update has been installed, the car can be purchased from the [Vision GT] option within the [CARS] section in “My Home”. Alternatively, it is also possible to obtain the car by completing a lap (regardless of the lap time) in the new Seasonal Event, available only for a limited time.
Nissan GT-R LM Nismo
The Nissan GT-R LM Nismo has been added as a gift car for completing Round 4 of “GT Academy 2015”, starting at 12:00AM (PST) on June 2nd.(1) Please note that in order to enter Round 4, you must complete the previous 3 rounds achieving at least a Bronze Award or better.
(2) If you live in a country eligible to participate in “GT Academy 2015”, you must agree to the online qualifier Terms & Conditions prior to entering Round 4.
Other improvements and adjustments
– Sound effects for the active wing/airbrake systems have been added to certain Vision Gran Turismo cars.
