With Diablo 3 celebrating its third birthday right now, Blizzard has decided to give players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC a secret cow level from today, May 15 through Thursday, May 21.
As Eurogamer explains it, an Elite cow enemy called Herald of the Queen will now randomly appear within Diablo 3. When you kill it, a portal will then open to a place called Not The Cow Level.
Giving you a taste of their cow puns, here’s what Blizzard had to say about the event:
Effective immediately, we encourage all residents of Sanctuary to steer clear of the wilds. From dawn on May 15 to dusk on May 21, it is also recommended that you avoid entering any strange portals that may or may not lead to alternate planes of existence. This activity cud be potentially hazardous to your health and, in the opinion of this humble civil servant, is a veally bad idea in general.
For those of you playing on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, owners of the Ultimate Evil Edition will receive a 100% bonus to EXP and Gold until May 21, which stacks with other existing bonuses in the game.
