After a Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 update went live yesterday, YouTube user Drift0r posted a video detailing a couple symbols they found on the Plaza and Express maps. If you scan the images using the Snapchat app, Charlie Intel discovered that they lead you to a Call of Duty Snapchat, with a teaser video saying, “Listen only to the sound of my voice:”

Since we’re getting close to that time of year when Activision announces their yearly Call of Duty, people are speculating that this is the beginning of a viral marketing campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
As we learned earlier this year, 2015’s Call of Duty is being handled by Treyarch (Call of Duty: Black Ops 2) and, when someone sent this tweet questioning what the update included to David Vonderhaar, Studio Design Director at Treyarch, he re-tweeted it.
Do you think this is the first step towards Activision announcing Black Ops 3?
