God Eater 2: Rage Burst recently stormed onto Japanese and Asian PS4s and Vitas. (Yes, yes, Japan is part of Asia geographically, but when talking about media release regions, the two are different.)
Unfortunately, despite English marketing material and English subtitles in these trailers, the mainland Asia version of Rage Burst only includes Japanese and Chinese as its language options. It’s like, twist the knife, why don’t ya, Bamco?

But that’s seemingly all the English you’ll get out of God Eater 2: Rage Burst.
It’s funny — not haha funny, but interesting — that the marketing team will see a need for English subtitles in order to sell people a game, but not realize what that might indicate about the user base. Do they care only enough to assist you in buying the game, but not playing it? That seems weird to me.
