Battle Chasers, that comic book series from over a decade ago, is going to be rebooted and turned into a video game with the help of two co-founders of Vigil Games, the company that developed the Darksiders titles.
Joe Madureira, who is also the creator of the Battle Chasers comics, and Ryan Stefanelli have formed a new company after Vigil fell apart back in 2013 called Airship Syndicate, and it is with this company that Battle Chasers will be made. While they have not released many details on the upcoming game yet, the two developers did mention that the game will be an RPG, and it will feel similar to the Darksiders games. They also explained that popular Battle Chasers characters, like Garrison, Gully and Calibretto, will be in the title.
While no release date or time frame has been announced yet, the developers did mention that Battle Chasers will be coming to PC and consoles, with the possibility that it would also hit tablets. Hopefully, more news will be released in the upcoming months.
