Earlier this week, Mortal Kombat X director Ed Boon teased a couple of fans on Twitter in his usual style, stating that “next week is going to be a lot of fun.” He’s now announced that a character reveal event and in-depth gameplay demonstration will take place on Thursday, January 29.
Fans will want to tune into to NetherRealm’s Twitch channel at 3pm CST for the event. A follow-up tweet by Boon mentions that two new characters will be unveiled, but he didn’t drop any hints about who they’re going to be. So until Thursday, we can only guess!
Mortal Kombat X will release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 14, 2015.
